Ascended Weapon Crafting

Just like making a set of ascended armor, you wont feel complete until you have the full package of everything, in which its the weapons. So there are a total of 19 ascended weapons to choose, this includes:

• Two handed weapons
• Single handed weapons
• Off hand weapons
• Underwater battle weapons

TWO HANDED WEAPONS:

Staff

Rifle

Shortbow

Hammer

Longbow

Greatsword

SINGLE HANDED WEAPONS:

Scepter

Pistol

Sword

Mace

Dagger

OFF HAND WEAPONS:

Warhorn

Shield

Focus

Torch

Harpoon Gun

The stats that the weapons have are similar to their named ascended armor sets. Theres not much different unless you're talking about the colour changes for the skins.I recommend transmute a better looking skin onto the ascended ones.

The Ascended Weapons can be gotten from Fractal of the Mist (FotM), Tequatl the Sunless (Teq), Exotic Champion Bags, Guild Missions and WvW rank up chests. Some achievements collections will give guarantee an ascended weapon.

CRAFTING:

Before starting to make your ascended weapons, you'll need to have atleast one of the few crafting profession at level 500:

• Artificer
• Huntsman
• Armorsmith

So just like ascended armor... Buy the ascended weapon recipe before crafting and also make time-gated materials daily.

You will also need 1 Ascended Inscription and also 1 Vision Crystal.

• An Ascended Inscription - 1 Deldrimor Steel Plated Dowel/ Jewel Deldrimor Steel Plated Dowel 10 Globs of Dark Matter, 10 Pile of Crystalline Dust, 1 Orichalcum Imbued Inscription of your choice
• Vision Crystal - 1 Augur Stone ( 20 Spirit Shards), 5 Dragonite Ingot, 5 Bloodstone Bricks, 5 Empyreal Star

IF you were happened to be so lucky an ascended chest drops while you were doing something and you dont like its STATS you can change it by throwing it into the Mystic Forge. You'll need:

1 Ascended Weapon
1 Anthology of Heroes
5 Glob of Ectoplasm
1 Orichalcum Imbued Inscription of your choice

Then forge it and out comes the armor piece you needed.
